Lydia Proctor is back on the case - genealogy that is.  This time it's at the request of a Tri-Cities society founding member. When Jackie Grier asks Lydia to help solve a family dispute, Lydia takes the task on reluctantly. Patience becomes a virtue when Lydia has to appease Jackie and try to solve her family history problem the "right" way.

Murder, as she eventually learns, comes in many forms, both in the past and the present.

As always Lydia has the support of her good friends, Faye, Muriel and Julia.

Bloggin' Lazy
My cousin Titi is awsome. She bloggs pretty much everyday on her life with her son. How she does it I don't know. Maybe unlike me she isn't glued to Facebook or Farm Town and actually has a life. I did spend one whole weekend away from my computer at a genealogy conference in Burbank - SCGS Jamboree. I ended up with frantic texts and phone calls from my child telling me my crops were dying and what should she do. What has our world become that we are so wrapped up in a virtual farm?

Maybe because it is an escapeism. There is so much negativity and death around us lately that planting and harvesting crops is a break from the daily grind and stress.

So what about writing. What about scrapbooking. What about vacations without a computer that is more than 2 days? I don't know. I'm waiting for the answer to all those questions!

Either way my book is available through Amazon, although they can't seem to make up their mind whether it is in stock or will take 6 weeks. Funny how the first one is in stock - 2 left - more on the way! - and this one can't even seem to see the light of day. So much for publishing two books to show I am a consistent writer and worth of the time of some big named agent or publisher!

Yes, life intrudes on my computer time...but that's okay too. I need to learn when to close the lid and do other things that don't require a keyboard...like now.
